Strong progress made on Filey Bus return

Great progress on bringing a town bus service back to Filey.

Thanks to the efforts of local residents, businesses and councils — including support from Filey Town Council and possible contributions from companies with local sites such as Haven.

A reduced 2–3 day service now looks like a realistic starting point, showing strong local commitment.

I’ve asked the Mayor & Combined Authority to help bridge the remaining gap so we can launch a pilot and work towards a long-term service.

Thank you to everyone involved so far — including campaigners such as Sue Cowan — for helping drive this forward.
