Congratulations to all our winners of the prestigious White Rose Awards this year. Scampston Hall and Walled Garden were the well-deserved winners of the Small Visitor Attraction of the Year award and the Restaurant of the Year award was won by the Pheasant in Harome, which is of course one of the most beautiful hotels in the UK. Yorkshire’s Pub of the year is the Bay Tree in Stillington and the Vale of Pickering Caravan Park came highly commended, which is also great news. The judges said it was harder than ever to make a decision this year because of the high standard of entrants across the 17 categories for tourist attractions and businesses. There are so many wonderful things to do and places to eat in my constituency, that’s it’s great to see some of them recognised. Well done to all!
