Jubilee Room

Producers from Malton and Filey food festivals wowed Parliament with samples of their delicious products at a special food event today.  The Jubilee rooms were packed with Parliamentarians and their staff eager to try out a range of locally sold produce. These included Yorkshire Salami from Three Little Pigs, Twisted Chille from Whetwang, Sloemotion Gin from Barton-le Willows and Cider from Orchards of Husthwaite. Kevin Hollinrake said ‘ This is a fantastic event. It shows off the range of tasty foods you can buy in Malton and Filey. There’s something for everyone here and I know that many people will want to buy more of what they sampled. I certainly do. I’m really proud of everything we have to offer and Malton absolutely deserves to become the food capital of Yorkshire’.
