Kevin Hollinrake has welcomed the publication of the Humber Coast and Vale Sustainability Plan, which covers the Vale of York, Scarborough and Ryedale CCG’s. The proposals are designed to give everyone access to the right care in the right place at the right time. They will include proposals to help people stay well, more money for local GP’s, create better and sustainable hospital care, support people with mental health problems and those suffering from cancer. The plan, which specifically mentions Scarborough Hospital, will look at improvements to out of hospital care and hospital services which are needed to support them.

Kevin Hollinrake is urging people to read the plans which can be found here: http://www.hullccg.nhs.uk/uploads/chronicler/document/document/630/Humber_Coast_and_Vale_Sustainability_and_Transformation_Plan.pdf

and to make their views known as soon as possible by writing to [email protected]
