Many congratulations to our new Prime Minister elect Liz Truss and my condolences to Rishi Sunak. Both candidates worked incredibly hard to make their case to the country. As constituents will be aware, I was a strong supporter of Rishi Sunak, but it is now time to unite behind our new Prime Minister in the national interest. It is crucially important we target support to households and SMEs according to their needs.
