There have been a number of inaccurate reports in the papers about my office expenses for 2019-2020. When IPSA published last year’s expenses £23,478 was allocated as office costs rather than staffing costs. In total my staff costs, including freelancers, are still within the budget allocated by IPSA and in line with other North Yorkshire colleagues. The member of staff concerned has now been added to the payroll so this misleading allocation should not reoccur.
