Norton College

It was great to welcome a group of sixth formers from Norton College with an interest in politics to Parliament. We were able to give them a tour of the  Houses of Parliament and arrange for them to watch some of the proceedings in the House of Commons.

I was really pleased at how enthusiastic they were about their visit. They asked me some very searching questions, which included lowering the voting age, reform of the House of Lords and the topic of the day -  Brexit.

I wonder if there will be a budding politician amongst them?
