Broadband problems frustrating residents living in Tholthorpe and Scrayingham have been brought to the attention of The Minister of State for Digital and Culture by their local MP.

Thirsk and Malton MP, Kevin Hollinrake, recently met with villagers who explained to him the difficulties they have encountered in getting connected. On Tuesday 17th January Mr. Hollinrake spoke to Rt. Hon. Matt Hancock MP at a meeting to discuss individual constituency problems surrounding the final 5% provision of broadband. The Minister told Mr. Hollinrake that he would take up the issue with BT and Superfast North Yorkshire.
