My warmest congratulations to Outwood Academy in Easingwold for being rated Outstanding by Ofsted. To become the first school in history to progress directly from Special Measures to Outstanding is an incredible achievement. It’s fantastic to see how the school has been transformed in recent years which is a real testament to the leadership, teaching team, parents and students.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my close relationship, involvement and visits to the school, the most recent being an insightful Q&A about politics and Parliament with students. I look forward to future visits.
