I am hoping to set up an engineering fair - most likely in the New Year - connecting North Yorkshire schools and colleges with local engineering businesses for apprenticeship and/or work experience opportunities.
To start this off, I'm holding an online roundtable to discuss the fair and how it could work with various council representatives, training organisations, DWP, York and North Yorkshire LEP and a variety of engineering businesses from in and around the Thirsk and Malton constituency.
