Wonderful day at the Great Yorkshire Show, I was especially delighted to be able to join Michael Gove, Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, as he sampled some of the fine produce from our region and met with local representatives from the CLA. I had a productive discussion, which included Brexit and food labelling, with NFU members from our constituency over a welcome cup of tea. The glorious sunshine and lively atmosphere made for a perfect day at one of the best events in the agricultural calendar.
