I am thrilled to hear that the Education Secretary, Nadhim Zahawi, has announced a £498 million Condition Improvement Fund for schools across the country, with both Norton College and Carlton Miniott Primary Academy being successful recipients of this fund. This is fantastic news for both schools as the money will contribute towards ensuring quality health and safety standards. The Condition Improvement Fund was heavily oversubscribed, making this news even more welcome whilst also demonstrating the Government’s commitment to investing in educational facilities in the North.
