What a fantastic day it was today in Malton for the town’s 10th food festival. The sun shone on our picturesque market town, packed with local people, visitors and food lovers from far afield. The stalls were heaving with delicious food and drinks to sample; there were talks from celebrity chefs, demonstrations, cookery classes, competitions, activities for children and live music. The atmosphere was full of fun as thousands of people celebrated everything that is great about Yorkshire food and cooking. Why would you want to be anywhere else?
