The numbers of people eligible for testing has been substantially increased.
If you are:
• Aged 65 and over with coronavirus symptoms along with any symptomatic members of their household
• A symptomatic worker who is unable to work from home, such as emergency plumbers, research scientists and those in manufacturing
• An asymptomatic NHS and social care worker or care home resident

How to book

If you want to book a test go to  http://www.gov.uk/coronavirus.
If you're an essential worker who is self-isolating (not able to leave home), you can now apply for you and your household to get tested for coronavirus (COVID-19).

Testing for coronavirus helps the government and scientists understand its current spread and plan how to manage the pandemic with the ultimate aim is that anyone who needs a test will be able to have one.
