My second Apprenticeship Fair took place on the 13th of February at the Milton Rooms in Malton from 5pm to 7pm.
Building on the success of the previous event, which focused specifically on engineering, this year’s fair showcased a wide range of apprenticeship opportunities. Businesses and trades from across North Yorkshire attended, representing sectors such as catering, engineering, tourism and environmental services:
- McCain
- Severfield
- Network Rail
- Job Centre Plus
- Castle Howard
- Marshall ADG
- Fera
- North Yorkshire County Council
- Derwent Training Association
The event welcomed students, teachers, parents and anyone interested in exploring apprenticeships. It provided a fantastic opportunity to discover pathways into various industries, meet local employers, and learn about the benefits of hands-on training.
Apprenticeships are an invaluable route to gaining skills and building careers. I was delighted to see this year’s fair expand to cover even more industries, and it was great to welcome so many people keen to explore the opportunities on offer.
Thank you to everyone who helped spread the word and attended the event. For more information, please contact [email protected].
